Gorgeous, fairly clean place with superfriendly and amicable staff with a very friendly and helpful member of staff. Strategic location right in the centre of the seedy side of Hamburg. Very close to dinner.

Charming hotel with great value for money. We arrived late and were pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary breakfast included for our whole stay. The room, although a bit dated, was spacious and clean with a modern bathroom. The location was convenient, close to the main bus and train stations, making it easy to explore Hamburg's attractions. The breakfast spread was delicious and offered a variety of options, including salmon. Despite the neighborhood being a bit sketchy, we felt safe and enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this hotel for its old-world charm, excellent service, and proximity to Hamburg's main sights.

The Hotel has few parking places and you cannot reserve one. It is not easy to park in the neighborhood. There is not a lift for the luggages.

Lack of basic utensils in the kitchen for simple catering; for example no chopping board, cutting knives, dinner plates, etc. We even had to ask to get an electric jug to be able to make some tea.

I had a standard queen room and it was compact with a large TV and tea. The hotel was wonderful small and in a central location. There was a pleasant restaurant, a main shopping street and a shopping street next door. Everything was simply really good.

We had a great value for our money at Hotel City House. The room was fantastic, with comfortable beds and beautiful furnishings. The location was convenient, just a short walk from the train station and city center. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even better.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast selection better was if they had a wider variety of pastries. But overall, it was still a satisfying and delicious breakfast experience.

Location was perfect for me as i had a meeting in the morning near-by. Very quiet street. Historical building. Beautiful lounge. Large room with separate kitchen. Tea making possibllity in the room.

We had a family room on the top floor, the room was rather big and new, nice hotel I would recommend.

Construction site just opposite the hotel, one morning it was rather noisy... We arrived at about 10 P.M. and had to pick up the keys of the entrance door and of the room in another hotel in the near.

The hotel is in a central location, close to the station and port area, making it really convenient for exploring the city. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and the bathrooms are clean and well-equipped. The service is friendly and welcoming, with staff happy to assist with any queries. Breakfast is varied and delicious, with something to suit everyone's tastes. Plus, the hotel is furnished with charming antique pieces that make for a unique stay.

As with many city center locations, the area can be a bit dodgy at night, so it's important to be cautious when walking around.

It offers excellent services. The standard double room is compact and has central heating, multi-channel TV, and a writing table.

Staff was very nice and the rooms are ok!

The location was not really confertable. The place was a kind of red light zone.
