The Hotel Catedral overlooks the downtown, famous Sierra Madre and the cathedral. There is a bunch of restaurants, bars, art galleries and other popular tourist sights in close proximity to the hotel.

Getting around

There is a bus stop close to the hotel and usually buses are the most convenient way to get around. Bus trips cost around 6.00 pesos (US 50 cents). The hotel’s friendly staff can arrange a cab for you. There is no problem getting a taxi on the street. However, they do not have working speedometers, so the price is often negotiable.

Location in the centre of old Puerto Vallarta and good value for money. Great rates and the friendly staff. Free bottled water in the room and i really liked the patio and the terrace. An interesting menu of pillows and gracious hosts.
