  Good location

  Rude staff and poor service!

  I and three other guests celebrated our 2005 New Years Eve in their restaurant. The dinner arrangements and prices were agreed to in advance - deposit required. The night went so, so, but the service was well below expectations for a 4-5 star hotel! The waitress was inexperienced and I received classier service at a Denny's! When the bill came we noticed a few discrepancies and brought it to their attention. They agreed to fix the bill accordingly. After 3 attempts to correct their obvious mistakes, they refused to correct it again and were very rude about it. We also came to realize that one other couple had similar OVERCHARGES on their bill as well. Obviously they thought we did not know our math. When I received my Am Ex bill it showed that the hotel overcharged me $207.47! Three months later I am still disputing the charges through Am Ex. I will NEVER visit that hotel again!

  On a great beach, excellent location and the building that houses the hotel has a rich. The lobby oozes luxury, the staff were very helpful and check-out were quick and easy. Room was nice, mattress were very comfortable and the robes were so comfy.

  The food was awful, spa prices were overly expensive.

  Beach was amazing and the view was spectacular. Also atmosphere were so wonderful, the front desk was professional and the F+B Manager was great. The rooms were beautiful, the service was top notch as well as the food and pool- was helpful and attentive.

  Beach was amazing and the decor was lovely. Service was fast, the Concierge was great in arranging and the room itself was very nice. The food was excellent, the pool was large.

  The fitness center was small, drinks in the bar were very expensive.

  The wonderful walkways next to the beach, great location and we received a nice welcome at reception. Lobby is beautiful, the staff at Casa Del Mar are fantastic and the rooms are comfortably appointed. On the restaurant level is simply gorgeous.

  Breakfast sitting looking over the beach was brilliant and all the hotel staff were fabulous in every way. Overall service was very attentive, the concierge was very helpful and the room itself was nice. Food was good and the pool was large.

  We loved the bar by the beach-the rooms were perfect-well stocked and clean, the hotel was beautiful. Service was great and the bed was really comfortable. Restaurants were very nice and pool- was helpful and attentive.

  Direct beach view, great atmosphere and the lobby bar is very nice. The staff at Casa Del Mar are fantastic and the huge marble bathroom. Shutters One Pico restaurant is excellent, the pool attendant is friendly and helpful.

  The location is fantastic, for a place that claims to be such an amazing place and the rooms are nice.

  Service at the pool is not as quick, restaurant is expensive.

  The view from the pool is the best you can get on the whole West Coast and the location of this hotel on the beach is great. Beautiful marble bathroom.

  The staff is not friendly and restaurant is expensive.
