Hotel Caravaggio Florence - 佛罗伦萨

The location is great and this hotel is situated near railway station.

Excellent location, conviniently located near the train station and just a few blocks from all the main atttractions.

The location is good and well located hotel just close enough to the railway.

Location was ideal, within minutes of the market and 5 - 10 minutes walk from Santa Novella station - excellent for connecting with Terravision bus to Pisa airport.

It is very handy for the SMN train station also, we flew to Pisa and then got a train from Pisa airport to Florence SMN station.

The only downside to the room was that our bed was made up of two single beds joined together and the window looked out to a park and street so on a weekday morning, it is a bit loud and busy.

Our party of 4, 2 adults and 2 children were well accommodated in a spacious room with a queen size bed and 2 single beds.

The room was somewhat small and basic in its furnishings; however, it was extremely clean, the bathroom met all our needs and the bed was firm/comfortable so that we had a good night's sleep.

The room was very clean with a large firm bed and a large (by European standards) and spotlessly clean, bathroom and shower.

Both rooms were very clean, the kingsize beds were average in comfort, lighting was good, only CNN to watch on TV, a nice wardrobe with safe in each room.

Hotel doesn't have it's own restaurant but the pasta house next door does a brisk trade and is perfect if you want a good quick meal (we managed to have a 2 course meal in 40 minutes which is almost unheard of in most restaurants in Florence).

Breakfast was served on the first floor in a very nice lounge and it was better than the breakfasts we had at other hotels in Italy.

There was a bar downstairs, breakfast was great.

There is a bar at the hotel which serves great coffee and drinks, an internet point and local advice about restaurants.

The hotel is not large enough to have a concierge so we were at the mercy of the staff at the front desk.

The front desk staff was helpful with everything from dinner reservations to city directions.

There is lovely reception room in the lobby, which opens to a garden, where you can have a drink in the evening and read the paper.

Parking in Florence is difficult and the hotel's valet parking is excellent but at 25 euros per night maybe a bit expensive?

Elevator functioned well, so suitable for guests who can't climb lots of stairs.

Advertised wireless internet but it wasn't working during our stay.

Rooms were clean tidy and well furbished.

The room was an adequate size but very clean and fresh.

The staff is excellent and bathroom is big and clean.

The bathroom was clean and all restaurant recommendations were very good.

The staff is great and the rooms are very clean.
