The room was decently comfortable, and the hotel staff was friendly after you checked in and paid for the room.

The hotel did not uphold their policies, and ended up charging an extra $100 fee without informing me before I arrived at the hotel. My car was also broken into in front of the hotel cameras, and the hotel refused to do anything, despite my inability to access a phone.

The hotel was very comfortable and reasonably priced. The staff were uniformly pleasant and extremely helpful. It was altogether a pleasure to stay there.

The information about local starlett Wallis Warfield Simpson was very interesting, and our room was lovely and had a distinct boutique feeling. It was unusually shaped to fit with the historic building. It was a long room with nooks and crannies, and not your cookie cutter square!

Hotel Brexton is a beautiful historic hotel. The staff was very friendly and the room was very nice. Only a few blocks away from the purple circular line that takes you right to the inner harbor, this hotel is a real find.

The staff was nice and helpful. However, the location was not as expected.

Room was in the basement and neighborhood was a little dicey.

The 1st time I stayed I was offered advance parking. That offer was not made after booking. I traveled there to take in a dance performance, but it was art scape weekend and parking was very bad. However, the staff on duty (Eboni) went out of her way to assist with my parking. As she was about to get off work, my car key was left at the desk so she pulled my car into her space; and I remained parked until I was ready to depart the city. Awesome Staff! And when I approched the desk the next morning to another happy staff face(Melody) remembered my 1st visit during my son's graduation. Great when staff can remember their visitors face. Makes us feel special.

I was assigned room 205 and the ac was in the ceiling blowing down toward the bed. I didn't care for that direction. If the blower could be shifted away from the bed would make for a better sleep. Light buld missing and the shower door is ajar or needs adjustment

The hotel was nice.. I liked the modern bathroom. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. The parking was fine (maybe a bit pricy at $20 for street parking). I saw photos of the hotel being rennovated.. If so they did an excellent job (whoever did the work)..the rooms are nice and cozy and the bed comfortable.

The only bad point was the breakfast. It is advertised as a European Continental breakfast... The coffee machine was good and there was a good corn muffin... Otherwise I wasn't impressed.. Maybe they could get some fresh bread or a waffle machine? I don't think it qualifies as a Continental breakfast (the Europeans always serve fresh bread and cheeses)

I really liked the architecture, ambiance and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Staff was also very nice and location very convenient to where I needed to be. Lots of good restaurants nearby too!

historic hotel, unique history. Room was elegant and comfortable.

Bathroom was remodeled with an elegant, clean design, but no coiunter space and awkward area between door and sink - easy to bump into sink corner. Also, on website, the area appeared to contain lots of places to go within walking, but we found the neighborhood scary and did not want to walk around after dark.

It was directly located in the middle of baltimore, Anywhere we needed to go was a short walk or cheap cab ride away from us.

You could hear people walking around and talking in other rooms with out even trying. We had the television on and could hear people speaking below us and moving around above us.

It reminded me of London with the surrounding streets. We drove into the city and attended parents dinner which followed our son college graduation from Morgan State. We invited out sons to come visit us at the hotel that was very nice. The staff was amazing and very helpful and honest. My husband forgot his wallet in the room and the young lady ran down as we were exiting the back to ensure we got the wallet. I was allowed to check in early although I didn't make it. Reserve parking is higly recommended for hotel, especially if you are moving the vehicle. But if you are driving in and parking the vehicle with on plans of driving then it's free on first come serve, so get there early. The garden in the back is very lovely with early breakfast out back. And the breakfast was very rewarding with hot drinks all the time. The hotel is amazing clean clean with amazing original (wooden) stair case and tiny elevator. The windows are original and I loved the morden bathroom. Yes, the price was very fair in comparison to other hotels ten mins away. Great bed and breakfast. I want to try out the suites next time.

It was great and look forward to staying there again.
