Overall we rate this hotel for the price range it was in very good in value.

Great value for downtown Chicago hotel and friendly staff.

Therefore, hotel location is absolutely critical but we have no interest in spending so much money on a room that we feel the need to hang out there instead of enjoying what the city has to offer!

The hotel had a special offer (5th night free) that made it an easy choice, compared to hotels of similar price or quality.

Great location, spacious room in a good located hotel and personnel at reception was very friendly.

Close to a lot of great sites such as the museums and the location of the hotel is good too.

All that, and the ideal location for exploring Chicago by foot or subway.

If you intend to spend all your time on North Michigan, it might still be worth it for the hotel savings, but you'll have to endure a bit of a schlep on the CTA, on foot, or in cabs.

We had booked a room with confirmed double beds (for four people) and when we showed up they had apparently given all the double-bed rooms away and ran out of rolller beds too.

The Plymouth Restaurant, which is about a 5 minute walk, serves "casual American", including breakfast and has a sports bar downstairs, as well as a rooftop bar (not that it was open in late October).

We did not eat at the Custom House because it is fairly expensive, but you are not far from other restaurants and don't miss Orange around the corner for breakfast or lunch.

Very nice décor in the lobby and rooms, cool music was piped in by the elevators.

We were able to find car parking on the same block for $20 with one in and out.

There is construction happening on every floor, no spa, only one working elevator for almost ten floors.

Great downtown location, easy to get a cab or to get to the El Train and the Wyndham Blake Chicago is an excellent value. The service is good and the room is nice and clean. Very convenient to grab drinks.

In the old building part, for a family of 4 would have been much too expensive in an already expensive town and exterior wall seemed paper thin - cold breeze coming through window crevices. I would suggest perhaps that any facilities not available to all guests.

The fitness center was great and they brought up within ten minutes. Overall the stay was enjoyable and the happy hour in the lobby was a welcome change we mingled. The staff was incredibly accommodating and concierge was really nice.

The pillows were to soft and the furniture in our room was worn and broken. The continental breakfast was limited, i was given a choice of moving to another or securing my valuables.

Central location, great luxury hotel and attractive lobby. Friendly and helpful staff, quick @ easy check-in, the bed was extremely comfy. The fact that a continental breakfast was even provided.

Really great place, helpful staff and the room was nice and big.

The area they set up the evening bar was near the front desk people entered and the restaurant in the building was also very good. The breakfast was very light - a muffin.
