Overview

Located in the centre of Locarno, the four-star Belvedere hotel is in close proximity to Plaza Grande, the International Festival Theatre and Tenero-Sport Center.

Renovated in 2009 the property offers boutique-style interior, designer furnishings and state-of-the-art equipment.

All 81 guestrooms with breathtaking views of the mountains and Lake Maggiore feature luxurious bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and mini-bars.

There are three restaurants, L’Affresco, La Veranda and La Fontana, a cafe and a bar on site.

The congress centre has five meeting rooms with natural light and all modern facilities accommodating up to 120 participants. Wi-Fi is available in the entire hotel at the rate of CHF 10 per hour.

The Oasis health center provides various massages and beauty treatments, a 17m swimming pool and a fully-equipped gym.

By car drive southwest on Via Aeroporto toward Via Prati Maggiori for 400m and take the 1st turning right onto Via Prati Maggiori, after 450m take the 1st turning left onto Via Mulino della Bolla and after 160m again turn right onto Strada Regina, go through two roundabouts and after 2.3km continue straight onto Via Cantonale. After 900m turn right at Strada Costa and merge onto A2/E35 via the ramp to San Gottardo/Bellinzona, take exit 48 toward Monte Ceneri and merge onto Route 2. Drive straight for 7.3km and turn left onto Via Monte Ceneri, later at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Via Stazione, go through one roundabout and after 750m continue onto 406 highway, go through two more roundabouts and take the 1st exit onto Via Monte Ceneri. Later continue onto Strada Cantonale for 1.3km and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A13, go straight for 9.4km and take the exit toward Locarno, merge onto Route 13 for 450m and at the roundabout take the 4th exit onto Via Rinaldo Simen, then turn right onto Via Vallemaggia and after 100m take the 1st turning left onto Via ai Monti, the hotel will be on the right.
