Fluffy duvets, complementary use of robes and slippers - all the little extras that put this hotel far above the rest - especially for the price when compared to what we got for the same amount of money in other places.

The Bellerive's location is central to the bus stop and right next door to the famous apres ski Papperla Pub, which is nice for the younger folks but could be loud up until 7pm or so for the older crowd.
Great location, we liked the life in this hotel very much and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.
PERFECT view of the high, the hotel is in a great central location in Zermatt and the staff is very helpfull.
They provide a complimentary ride to and from the train station (which if you have been to Zermatt, you know the electric taxis are VERY expensive.
We ended up taking the taxis that followed the packed ski buses for 3 CHF per person.

The hotel staff were extremely nice, the 6 or so beds in an adjacent relax room were comfortable.
The first is that our queen size bed was really two twins put together, so each of us had to stay on our own side of the bed with our own down comforters since you would literally fall into a crack in the middle if you tried to cozy up.
The beds were comfortable but if you want to see the Matterhorn you must specify a room on the correct side of the building.
We had registered relatively late and could not get a room with a Matterhorn view, but the patron told me that the rooms in the back were big and very quiet.
They have a very cute lounge/bar which was always empty when we were there.
The bedding was good, breakfast was excellent.
Breakfast was fabulous and the spa was extremely nice after a long day of skiing.
Additionally breakfast's reasonably good, very modern facility.
There was always a table set up for our party at breakfast, and the breakfast was just what we needed before a long day on the mountain.
The hotel's staff was very hospitable, the service was excellent and the bathroom was modern and clean.

The new front desk manager (Andrea) seemed very nice from the little interaction we had with her.
No full-board and the nice front desk manager mentioned on this site is not longer around (the new lady doesn't seem as nice).
Also, the hotel has just added a brand new jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room.
There is a standard sized Jacuzzi, a steam room and a sauna.
There is no elevator to the 4th floor (top) only to the third.
The Bellerive rooms are spectacularly clean and VERY comfortable.
The room is new and clean, breakfast is superb.
The room was spotless, dVD player The staff was very helpful and pleasant, breakfast was fine - pretty standard continental buffet.
This hotel was the best ever, the staff was great and the room was clean.
The rooms were very nice size and clean, our meal at the Avena was fabulous.
