Hotel Baia Grande Albufeira - 阿尔布费拉

As a couple who love to walk and find our own places to explore the location is excellent.

Overall- this hotel is gorgeous and we had a great holiday experience but others need to be prepared to sacrifice a good location for this 4 star hotel.

The hotel is in a nice location about 8km outside Albufeira - not the best Algarve resort!

5) Trips/Taxis/Airport Transfer can all be booked through reception- good deals.

Set aside money for taxis/hire car as shuttle bus only goes to Oura beach and the Old Town not 'The Strip' area/beach which is cheaper, livelier and has more choice of restaurants/bars.

We were lucky enough to have a 2 bedroom suite(which was 2 seperate bedrooms)that was larger than normal rooms.

We would return to the room with 'swans' on our bed, which the maid had created.

Service is excellent, coffee making facilities in the rooms would be good and a mini bar that can be used as a small fridge Bathroom spotless.

A very clean hotel- the rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels in the room every other day.

On the morning of day 2 we were moved to what was a very nice room, with a large balcony/sea view/large bathroom/couch/dining area/mini-bar etc.

We did not eat in the main restaurants of the hotel but we did have breakfast which was basic but more then enough, and we had sandwiches for lunch at the pool bar.

We went bed and breakfast and also ate lunch everyday at the poolside bar, however i have to admit we did eat out every night in albufeira old town that said the food we did have was lovely.

The food was lovely both in the restaurant and by the snack bar although soft drinks and water were a little pricey.

Breakfast was fine but we were not impressed with the evening meal so we had dinner at local restaurants, all within easy walking distance.

There is a new trendy restaurant / bar on the way down to the cove which I am sure will be busy in peak season.

First of all, the service and cleanliness was top class throughout our stay, with rooms cleaned daily and reception manned at all hours with very friendly staff.

The staff are superb, the bedrooms are well maintained and another good restaurant close by is Marinheiro- great service.

Reception staff were pleasant and helpful.

3) Very helpful and pleasant staff (especially on reception) and they encourage you to set up tabs everywhere!

There are elevators but when you get out of them you have to lift your pushchair up 4 or 5 steps to get to the pool - no good if you're on your own.

3) Indoor Pool/Gym is unbearably hot even though rest of hotel is air conditioned.

The hotel is very clean, on arrival the staff are friendly and welcoming, gym is located by indoor pool well couple of exercise machines.

However the hotel was lovely - clean, tidy rooms of a high standard.

The rooms are large, well furnished and very clean.

Room was large, very clean and air conditioned.

Comfortable hotel, friendly service and the room was very clean.

All staff friendly, clean room and the regular barman in the piano bar was excellent.
