Don't stay here if you like chrome and modern hotels with swanky wine bars but I'd certainly reccomend it to anyone wanting a traditional swiss hotel at reasonable prices.

Very good location and 1 station away to magnificent Lauterbrunnen valley.
If you're a serious skier you may find it too far out but for mixed groups with non-skiers it is a good location for site seeing with easy access to both the mountains and Interlaken.
We travelled around using the trains and this hotel is only a short walk from the station.
Ideal starting point for wandering in the Jungfrau region: central position and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the train station.
The shower for example was open plan and not in a bathroom , only the shwoer curtain separated this from the bedroom.
