The location is outstanding for visiting Viareggio; however, many hotels are located on the same street and are equally well placed across the street from the beach.

The location is brilliant as 's right by the seaside and via Reggio is a great place to visit.

Great location, intended to stay 2 nights and the bathroom in each of our rooms was very modern.

Our room had a better view than you see in the Booked.net photos, but the furnishings and room size in our two rooms were not as big and well appointed as the photos at Booked.net led me to expect.

We feel the whole experience from start to finish was fantastic, with a welcoming reception from the front desk, excellent service and choice of food from the restaurant.

In June 2005 Astor's pool was closed due to construction.

This was great partly because it was free and partly because this particular beach vendor had an extremely clean, large, well maintained outdoor pool.

I would love to stay at the hotel again in season as is the perfect spot for a beach vacation, single rooms a bit too small and roof top terrace clean and comfortable.
