For the price you pay compared to other downtown hotels.
Didn't like the fact that you had to pay an extra $7 a day for parking, this should be included in the hotel price in my opinion.
We paid $116 + taxes for a night stay at this hotel (found this price via Booked.net and property honored the pricing when we booked directly via the phone).
I do enjoy the boutique atmosphere of the hotel and stay here when the downtown hotels are out of price.
Good location and interestingly different decor.
I would highly recommend this location to those looking for a beautiful & chic hotel get away.
The Sheraton staff was very friendly and it has a convenient downtown location, but I liked the Hotel Arts location better.
I am thankful though that the hotel did have underground parking, which I did use.
20 and waiting 15 minutes for a taxi outside is not a great way to start the day.
Room was large, clean and warm with huge plasma TV, comfortable bed and modern clean bathroom and balcony.
We had a king bed, a huge marble bathroom with a double neptune jacuzzi tub and a huge 42" plasma tv mounted on the wall that was able to be tilted.
The room is very modern looking with great lighting, an amazing bathroom and a very comfortable bed.
We booked one of the Luxury rooms and it had everything we needed- spacious room, very comfortable bed ,a gorgeous marble bathroon and a balcony that I could enjoy a cigarette on.
The beds (we took a room with 2 queen beds) are on large black boxes (bedframes) and are pushed up against the walls so that if you are two to the bed, one of you has to scoot in from the bottom of the bed to get in.
We only sampled the hotel's restaurant at breakfast.
There is a nice pool and the restaurant offers a very reasonably priced, bountiful breakfast buffet.
The restaurant has fantastic upscale food with a great atmosphere.
The next evening, we ate at the Saint Germain restaurant.
In addition great restaurants as well as pool side lounge.
Chic hotel that offered genuinely great service, the staff were VERY courteous and friendly, the room was fine - clean and tidy.
Hotel staff was friendly, service was excellent and rooms were very nicely appointed.
Best Place to stay in Calgary you won't be dissapointed and the front desk staff friendly and welcoming.
It does over look the pool area which is kind of a turn off because who wants to swim with the lobby looking at them?
The outdoor heated pool was very nice which was surrounded by chic pool chairs, all of which can be seen from the lobby and the corridors to the conference rooms and restaurants; neat hotel design!
Hotel Arts has a very impressive lobby, courtyard pool, and attached lounge/restraunt.
We did, and the "free" wifi turned into $10 per day wired connections.
The room was fine - clean and tidy but just as I imagine it was when the hotel was called the Holiday Inn.
Impressive looking hotel i arrived, wonderful service and the room was clean.
The Hotel is great, clean and well kept rooms and friendly staff.
The staff was very friendly and loved clean the rooms were etc.
It had been recently redecorated, although some of the workmanship and fittings looked a little cheap, and the room appeared to be clean.
