We booked almost six months ahead and got a very competitive rate, the full breakfast and total comfort made the hotel a great value.

Honestly this hotel is very poor value with staff having no local knowledge of restaurants ,bars to recommend.

I wasn't blown away by this hotel, due to reservations about the noise in the corridors due to lack of carpet in the corridors, but this hotel was ok for the price.

Prices are much too high and this hotel is definitely not the category it sells itself.

The location was ideal - very centrally located to everything.

Situated in a small cobbled street, a minute's walk away from the Spanish Steps, this hotel is in a fantastic location, ideal for those wishing to go sightseeing/shopping.

The location is excellent - subway nearby, good shopping and restaurants in the neighborhood, walking distance to many of the major attractions and quiet.

The Piazza di Spagna Metro station is also very close so you can conveniently get to the Vatican or any other place you'd like.

We had also reserved a private limo airport transfer from the airport with the hotel.

The bathroom had no bath tub, and I confirmed with other friends in other rooms, that none of their bathrooms had a bath tub either.

The rooms are maybe a little bit small but have all facilities that a guest can wish: big bed, fine linens, internet connection, central heating, well ecquipated bathroom with everything in it!

We had a spacious, very clean room, with fabulous bed linen (actually linen, not cotton - wonderful), a reasonable sized bathroom with decent shower, huge bed and great little touches like big fluffy bathrobes.

Average size room but excellently fitted out - large bed, lovely linen, well stocked fridge, stylish bathroom with sliding glass doors.

The room was nice, huge double bed and very modern bathroom.

Very good location , amazing shops, Gusto restaurant highly recommended, but go for a drink in the bar as they serve food free of charge if you are drinking!

Whilst the hotel doesn't have it's own restaurant offering evening meals, there are numerous great, reasonably priced restaurants within a couple of minutes walk.

Breakfast rubbish ,souless bar in the hotel.

No evening restaurant (although they do offer a limited range of room service items, and there are lots of great restaurants within a couple of minutes walk).

The hotel bar/breakfast room was stunning and the corrdorrs were truely unique.

WOW was I dissappointed dreadful reception staff ,awfully small rooms ,I hated it.

The front desk staff goes above and beyond, to serve their guests and are always available to provide directions or restaurant suggestions.

I was very impressed with the staff at the front desk who were very friendly and helpful without being pretentious in any way.

We found the desk and concierge staff to be mixed.

The two times the staff at the reception was very rude: the first time they gave me a single room instead of double, arguing that the hotel was fully booked.

We were on the orange floor and the floor lit up when you stepped off of the elevator.

If you are one to stay in the hotel a little more, they do have a lovely outdoor garden sitting area and although we didn't use it, it did look very relaxing!

We had a very small, but clean and tidy room.

The rooms, while somewhat astere, were very comfortable and clean.

We just loved staying here and it was really refreshing after a long day walking around the city to just sit back and relax in a comfortable, clean hotel room.

Imaculately clean room, a little small, but who stay's in the room?

The rooms were clean and modern and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Forgot to mention it was very hot and we found out that you cant control the Air Conditioner from your room.

The location was good with easy access to the designer shops. The area was quiet at night in November so we had to walk for some atmosphere as the hotel bar was empty as well. The staff were helpful and the hotel was different. Potentially good but falls short with small basic rooms.

The rooms are small and feel basic, not worth the money.

Hotel Art has a magnificent location and a very attractive entrance.

Art 2 suits - and it was terrible - 2 very tiny rooms, no space and very badly lit.

The staff were very friendly, pleasant and helpful, booking guides for us on two days to tour the Vatican and Forum area. And the location is perfect to see the city.

We booked a suite although it was essentially two small badly designed rooms connected by a sliding door. We could hear the people in the room next door, which was very intrusive. Our room also looked out into the internal courtyard and even though we were on the fourth floor the noise generated by people in the outside seating area on the ground floor of the courtyard was excessive. In spite of two discussions with reception there was no change to the room temperature and no offer to turn on the air conditioning. Given the cost of the suite, we would have expected more in terms of guest comfort and we were disappointed.

We walked everywhere and there were some great restaurants very close to the hotel. The room was nice, huge double bed and very modern bathroom. The staff were very pleasent and helpfull.

When we arrived, we were shown to a room that seemed nice and we were told we were given a complementary upgrade- seemed nice of them until we left and relized why- construction going on literally RIGHT NEXT TO THE ROOM meant CONSTANT jackhammering! We rebooked at Exedra for our final nights in Rome and, for the same price, had a room three times as large and MUCH nicer staff, with a complemetary Mercedes to the airport!

We asked to be moved and they did so, without a problem- we came back downstairs and they didn't even need us to say anything, they said "we'll switch your room"- seems like they had had a problem pawning that room off on other guests as well. Our second room seemed fine, but literally was so tiny there was no room to move. NO place for suitcases AT ALL- we had to completely repack everything each night just to have room to walk.

Great staff, set us up with a guide for the Vatican and ancient Rome. Ample and fresh breakfast buffet, great coffee. Imaculately clean room, a little small, but who stay's in the room? Quiet location, plenty of restaurants, shops and sights within minutes walk.

I describe this as a Heavenly experience, not only because it is a converted church, but because the staff, beautiful Danish design of simplicity and attentiveness to even the smallest of details is sheer perfection. The large spacious rooms, that are spotless, are so inviting along with a wonderful array of specially designed toiletries made specifcally for the Art, perfectly made comfortable beds with real linen sheets, wonderful fluffy robes and slippers, large closet space with a safe that accually operates and is simple to use, make it almost hard to leave and do the sites of this fabulous city. The personnel perform with perfection and are always pleasantly smiling. He is thoroughly charming, speaks many languages, and THEE MAN to go to for any information or suggestions.
