Hotel Arcobaleno Sienna - 锡耶纳

Great location, wonderful people, fantastic value for money.

The easy access to the bus stop, train station, and feeder roads to the Chianti region made this hotel's location excellent.

The location: it's 15-20 min walking distance from the city walls (where all the interesting things are).

The hotel is situated only a very short taxi ride to the train station but as we like to wander around we walked(not with luggage) if we wanted to use the trains and buses which we found to be very good.

It was a bit of a walk into town (but I liked the exercise) and you could use buses or taxis if you preferred.

We stayed there for five nights in a smart twin room, with air-conditioning, a TV and a private bathroom with shower.

The hotel itself is very nice - clean rooms, spacious bathrooms, nicely decorated common areas, and plenty of free parking.

One bed was a fold down type which was quite adequate for our 15 year old son.

Priced surprisingly well for a Bed and Breakfast, you won't go wrong if you are looking for a wonderful stay.

The bed even had a nice woolen blanket on it, should we need it on the cool nights.

Fresh biscotti on the bar for the taking, incredible restaurant where we ate for all four nights of our stay, pristene quiet rooms.

The lobby and breakfast room were well decorated and the breakfasts were wonderful.

The continental breakfast was excellent and the coffees from the bar - well worth asking for!

We ate at the restaurant downstairs and the food, atmosphere and staff were superb and the price was very reasonable.

The quiet, intimate restaurant is wonderful for a full Italian meal, or a bit of antipasto before setting out for other destinations.

I am very very impressed with the staff services here!

Having said that, the staff at the front desk were lovely and helpful.

Reception staff Cristiana and Luca were very helpfulwhen we booked in and were a wealth of information with timetables, information about Siena and anything else we wanted to know, always with a big smile.

The best bit was the service - when we arrived a very friendly and helpful young man on reception gave us loads of info on how to get around, where to go to eat etc and the restaurant recommendations were good.

They also had parking availalble which is a huge plus if you have a car.

The hotel was pretty easy to find and they have parking.

It is also a nice place to stay if you have a car as there is free parking.

The hotel is quaint and intimate and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and air conditioned.

The room is nice and clean, and gives you a very "cottage" feeling.

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable.

Hotel was very clean and the room was a bit small.

Positives: Rooms are clean, property is very well maintained, free parking and the owner is a super-nice guy who really deserves better.
