The guestrooms at Hotel Archimede Ortigia were so comfortable, I had a great night's sleep! The premium bedding and air conditioning made me feel cozy and relaxed. Plus, the free WiFi was a great perk!

Personally, I found the rainfall showerheads in the private bathrooms a bit too intense. But hey, that's just my opinion!

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Archimede Ortigia. The location near the train station was perfect for exploring the city on foot and by bicycle. The room was comfortable and the price was reasonable. I also appreciated the free bicycle rental and the helpful instructions about the city from the reception. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel's location right beside the train station is unbeatable for those traveling without a car. I was able to easily walk to many beautiful and historic places in the city, and the hotel even provided free bike rentals. The staff was very helpful and gave me great recommendations on where to go. Additionally, the hotel was very clean and had all the facilities I needed.

A very beautiful and nicely located hotel on a very moderate rate, a staff is particularly careful and friendly. For my next travel to Syracusa I will stay there again.

The hotel is situated about 20 minutes of the historical center on foot.By car 5 minutes but you can't park in the historical center. When you arrive at the hotel the receptionist shows you where to park your car.Steffano is very courtuous and friendly and you can ask him anything : a hair dryer, a map of the city (not every hotel can provide you with one), a fine restaurant, a place to go out etc...We ordered 2 glasses of wine and got some nice apricot cakes with it!

The hotel had a strategic location which was very convenient for getting around the town. The room was quiet and peaceful, which allowed us to get some much-needed rest. the staff were very friendly and happy to offer helpful information about the area.

We had a less than enjoyable stay at this establishment. the room was far too small for two people to comfortably move around, let alone attempt to work.

The staff are great, even though they dont speak english, they are willing to help.

On booking the quadruple room shown was different than the room actually given to us,also the heating was switched off too early during the night and as the room seemed very humid we were feeling cold.

The hotel is expectionally good value for money. The friendly staff offered us excellent advice regarding restaurants, sightseeing and assisted in finding accommodation at our next port of call. I can strongly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel with its whimsical decor and cozy rooms. The location is perfect, situated in a quiet street with plenty of restaurants nearby and just a short walk to the train and bus stations. The staff were friendly and always helpful, and the breakfast had a good selection of typical Sicilian treats. The rooms were clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities.

There was some construction nearby that could be heard in the early morning, but it didn't disrupt our stay too much.

Very friendly and helpful staff gives this suitably decorated hotel a family feel. It provides value for money and is ideally situated being very near transport hubs and close to the old town. Staff provided us with excellent advice for restaurants. Their character laden parrot (Archimede) adds a nice touch. Parking spots on the road opposite are allocated to the hotel.

Breakfast was a little basic compared to others we experienced in southern Italy.

The staff were helpful, friendly and spoke very good English (my Italian is somewhat limited). I was very appreciative that although I arrived at 10am the hotel was ready to let me use my room. There were some French people at the reception who were very critical of the hotel - totally unjustifiably in my opinion in the light of my subsequent experience (apparently they had turned up at the last minute and the hotel provided a room they wouldn't normally have used).

My only criticism was that my room was next to a fairly busy road but as I would definitely go back I said that I would bok a room at the back next time.

The hotel was conveniently located very close to transportation and attractions. The price was also very reasonable. the room was spacious and very clean.

The walls of the room were quite thin and I could hear the conversation of the people in the next room. The breakfast area was also a bit crowded and disorganized, making it difficult to enjoy a coffee.
