This hotel was definitely not a 4 star hotel but was more than adequate and very good value for money.
If you are not expecting luxury, this hotel gives value for money.
Arriving at this hotel for our honeymoon we were rudely told by 2 staff that they had accidently only booked a single room for us to stay in and if we wanted to stay there we would have to pay extra money.
Generally I feel quite satisfied by the service and the price we payd certaneley not as the neighbourhood hotels which charge 300 euro x night!
Perfect location: fontana trevi and piazza barberini are nearby.
The location is really good as it is indeed very close to a metro stop and a short walk to the spanish steps.
However, the location is great, close to many touristic sites.
It is situated close to most tourist attractions, bus-stops, Metro stations and taxi stands, and yet is in a quiet area.
00 at night and they booked as limousine taxi to and from the airport for 45 euros each way.
They had no more double rooms so we were put into another single bed room,but with three single beds!
Peters dome, the large bedroom had a big double bed clean linen bathroom was clean and clen towels were provided every day.
I spent most time sightseeing, all I needed was a bed and bathroom - if the room rate is broken down its probably 70% location 30% facilities.
Bathroom is terrible, 3X3 stall with curtain so floor floods, no place to put soup or tear open shampoos, small room, bad bed and sheets, dingy hallways, no work area or desk.
Lumpy bed, broken air con, windows did not shut correctly, TV 10" screen not tuned in correctly, very small safe fits 2 passports at a push, terrible boot style camp breakfast with miserable staff.
The breakfast was continental and all food was fresh staff were very helpfull all the time.
The breakfast was excellent - continental but plenty of choice and you could eat as much as you liked.
Breakfast was adequate, cold buffet – dining area was a bit small and it got very busy at the peak of the morning rush.
But the whole experience was like eating in one of the breakfast areas in a budget US motel.
The hotel staff were rude and you had to eat breakfast with plastic cutlery.
The staff at the front desk was cordial, always there and even got to know what room I was in after the second day.
It felt like the staff were tolerant of us rather than being there to be of service and were indifferent to our complaints about the room.
The lobby area is nice & was cool (June, 2003 during heat wave) but the elevator & halls on other floors were not air conditioned & were pretty stiffling.
Dont be mislead by the pleasant and highly decorated decor of the front lobby and lift - you get a big shock when you get out of the lift into another world.
It was situated on the 7th floor with elevator access only to the 6th and a window that was so tiny that you could not see out of it unless you stood on something.
We used up the rest of our waking ours on the net (the only good thing about the hotel was that it was close to a wi-fi hotspot) booking anoher hotel to move to in the morning.
The advertised internet access was not wireless, but only available on the one computer in the downstairs TV lounge.
Room resonably clean, however, sound of the main road outside leaves you with bleeding ears.
The room I had was clean, and larger than I expected.
The rooms need decorating and sound proofing however the staff were friendly and the rooms were very clean.
Rooms vary in size, but are generally clean and relatively quiet.
The hotel was clean, the room was small but lets face it.
