Our double room was pretty spacious for a European hotel and the bathroom was large even by American standards, and was very clean and seemed to have been recently renovated.
This suited us as was just a one night stop over, the staff were very kind and the bed was very comfortable.
The room was cleaned on daily basis, with sheets and towels changing.
The staff is friendly, satisfied my need of having a quiet room and the breakfast selection is fairly large.

The neighborhood immediately around the hotel felt very safe and clean--there were shops, restaurants, gelaterias and a food market.
