The location of Am Terrassenufer is fantastic, with the historic town center just a short walk away. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing a great view of the river. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options. Despite a few drawbacks, the overall experience was positive and I would recommend this hotel.

Great Value, Great Location. The hotel offered a fantastic package price for our city break, including a delicious buffet breakfast. The location was superb, just outside the main tourist area and close to the riverbank. It was easy to explore the city and visit the famous attractions. the staff were excellent, providing exceptional service throughout our stay.

Noisy and No Air Condition. One downside was the noise level in the room, with traffic noise audible even on higher floors.

The hotel was so close to the old town that we never needed to use the car in the three days we were there. Everything was within walking distance. Reception staff were extremely helpful as were all dining room staff. They were always happy to help and more importantly - they smiled! The room was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in.

Spacious and clean rooms with a great view. Nice and attentive staff. The location is perfect for exploring the city, with tram stops nearby and the old town within walking distance. The buffet breakfast offers a good variety of food options.

I was organising a trip to a conference for a big group of people and the hotel staff was very helpful and assisted a lot in the process of booking and organisation. In the end everybody was pleased with the choice of the hotel because the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good, and at the same time the hotel had a very convenient location and price.

I stayed at the Hotel am Terrassenufer for a short business trip to Dresden. I was looking to save money and found excellent value at this 4-star property. It was within a short walking distance of the Altstadt, which made its location very desirable; on top of everything else, I was able to access the hotel very easily through public transportation from the airport (bus 77 and tram 7). The room was extremely clean and spacious, the bathroom was of a decent size - not very big, but definitely not cramped. It also featured a shower and no bathtub, which I personally prefer. This may not be to everyone's taste, but it certainly was to mine. However, I do not know if some rooms have bathtubs.

Located in the heart of the city with easy access to the old town, the intriguing new synagogue, and the picturesque riverbank where Dresden's famous Weisseflotte departs from. The room was spacious, clean, and had a great view. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast spread was delightful.

The absence of air conditioning made the hotel quite hot and uncomfortable, especially during the summer months.

Location and staff was friendly and it was very clean.

The beds were hard and the wifi was not included in the price. It is a pain to have to log in each time and be charged by the hour at such a nice hotel.

Within easy walking distance of the city centre. good restaurant with plenty of choice both for breakfast and evening meals. helpful and efficient reception staff.

Service in restaurant very slow although most staff did try to speak english which was helpful. where to sit, especially at breakfast very confusing.

I enjoyed the central location of the hotel, only a short walk away from key sights and with great public transport links nearby. The view from the rooms was also impressive, showcasing the beautiful skyline of the city. the staff were friendly and provided helpful directions and advice.

The hotel lacked air-conditioning, making it somewhat uncomfortable on hot days. The breakfast buffet could also benefit from more variety, as some of the dishes looked unappetizing.
