Overview

Hotel Altberlin was completely restored in 1999 with keeping the late 19th century architecture and historical glorious of the past. It perfectly stands on Potsdamer Platz square, close to Philharmonic Hall and Wintergarten musical theatre.


All 50 bedrooms are decorated in Wilhelminian style with rich fabrics and separate living area. They are fitted with cable TV, minibar, telephone and Wi-Fi internet access in some of them.


Delicious buffet breakfasts are served each morning. The hotel is also proud of wonderful Rikes Gasthaus restaurant with old-world design and Berlin cuisine.


Moreover, a fully equipped meeting room is available for business purposes.

        Near Berlin philharmonie and Potsdamer Platz, the women on staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was huge and the bathroom was awesome, the breakfast was very good.
