There are better value for money hotels in Palma!
Also the situation of the hotel is great for shopping and at a reasonable price are likely to be confounded by Trip Advisor's ratings.

4 star, others claim 5 star - it is actually a 3 start hotel, so prices are quite high in comparison to others we considered in this area.
Almudaina was in a great location for exploring the city, the hotel was fantastic- not only was so centrally.

Elevators that were always prompt, the Sun Terrace was very pleasant and the buffet breakfast was very good.
The 8th floor is also the roof terrace and houses the winding room for the lifts, so can be noisy late into the evening and early morning.

Ease to get to from the airport could not have been better, the hotel is extremely well located for walking around the old town and rooms are reasonably sized and clean.
