This former palace has a stunning location overlooking the beautiful city of Cascais. The rooms are lavish, there's a pool, and the service is great. The fish dishes are delectable and the bay views are incredible.

The hotel is situated on a cliff which allows guests to enjoy the beautiful view of the sea. What can be better than dinner overlooking the coast? This luxurious boutique hotel’s doors are open for those, who would like to feel, how the elite of 19th century lived.

There are four main buildings of the hotel, which were bought in different times by Albatroz Group. Each of them was modernized for the necessities of tourism, and now it can offer 44 rooms, eight suites, and seven meeting rooms. Room service is available 24 hours.

The sun and sea view in the Terrace at the Albatroz will help not only to have a great rest, but also to be the best aperitif during breakfast, dinner or lunch.

lisbon and there was a beautiful stoned path to walk along the ocean for 30 minutes.
Panoramic sea views, a good place to base yourself outside of Lisbon and the staff throughout are pleasant.

Getting there

One needs about 30 minutes to get to the centre of Lisbon by train. The train station is near to the hotel (only 10m). The area can offer a number of different shops and restaurants. You will need from half an hour (from Lisbon airport) to three hours (from Oporto and Algarve) to reach the hotel by car. Transfer from the aiport, train or bus station to the hotel is available.

Getting around

You do not need the car, there are the regular trains from Lisbon to Cais do Sodre station. Good infrastructure lets to get to any place in the city (metro, buses, trams, and taxis). If you have your own car, the hotel is ready to offer you free private parking.

Nicely appointed and the view from the balcony was magnificent, the town of Cascais was wonderful and the Hotel Albetroz was the perfect hotel, every one of the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet.
