Hote Meninas Hotel was opened in 2005 and is a classy and hip. Decorated in minimalist luxury, the color scheme is blacks, whites and greys, with dark wood floors and splashes of fuchsia and lime green. Modern describes the feel of the place. There are flat screen TVs in each room, modern bathroom fittings, internet access points and a laptop in some rooms. The location is choice as well.

Overview

The Meninas Hotel is situated at a stone's throw from the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia museums and within a short walk to the city center. It’s also about half a block away from the Opera metro stop and a few minutes from such sights as the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and fashionable districts Puerta del Sol Gran Via.

This charming boutique hotel is set in an excellently maintained 19th century building with an original marble staircase and elegant adorning. Modern touches contrast with the overall classical ambiance of the hotel adding it a special zest and character.

Tastefully decorated guestrooms feature small balconies facing a quiet pedestrian street and all necessary comforts such as private bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, mini-bar, phone, satellite TV and cabled I-net.

A large buffet breakfast is served in an authentic vaulted dining room. The neighborhood abounds in various eateries for dining out and food stores.
