Hostal San Lorenzo is generally a good deal. There are original stone walls and some dark wood beams from the 19th century in the public areas, and the rooms are modern, comfortable and bright. Some of the rooms could be larger and depending on who you run into, the service can be less than ideal.

Placed in the heart of the city, at Clavel 8th Street, the three-star Hostal San Lorenzo has a fantastic location.

It is situated at an intersection with Gran Via 18th Street, one of the most fashionable and well-known streets of Madrid, and overlooks Vazquez de Mella Square. The hotel is surrounded by lots of restaurants and coffee houses. Also such popular and attractive places as Puerta del Sol, Prado Museum, Thysen Museum, Reina Sofia Museum, Royal Palace, Retiro Park, Plaza Mayor are located within a walking distance from the hotel.

The hotel occupies a historical building from the beginning of the last century enhanced in the year 2002. It offers 48 rooms with high ceilings, large windows and spacious balconies on three floors.
