Homewood Suites Washington Dc - Downtown - Distrito de Colúmbia

The location is close to most major tourist attractions - museums, monuments, etc.

It was selected (by my travel organizer) for its location, close to our office in Washington, DC.

The location is nice, pretty close to the Metro and the White House.

Down near McPherson metro are some snack places (Subway, Au Bon Pain etc).

Even when it came to call us taxis, they put one group into a private limo (without asking) and they were charged twice the price of the taxi.

The bathroom was in the bedroom with the sink outside and the toilet and bathtub shower in a separate room to the side of the sink area.

The suite was great because we would put the kids to bed and watch TV in the other room afterwards while they slept.

Rooms have two double beds and full pull out sofa in a one bedroom suite.

We had two double beds in the bedroom and a double sofa/bed in the lounge.

The room was an actual suite (with doors and everything) and had two TVs, a comfortable king sized bed, a full kitchen along with all the necessary utensils.

A few restaurants within the vicinity,including Mar De Plata(good Spaniard cuisine and delicious sangria), Popeyes, and a cheap Central American restaurant too.

Talking about the Holiday Inn- we had a superb meal at the Filibusters Bar and Grill- highly recommend this restaurant!

The breakfast is a full meal, complete with every item.

That's the only down side of Washington at the weekend - many restaurants close at the weekend and there's no evening food at the hotel.

The breakfast was typical -- not the best food on the planet, but it's right there and included in the price.

Staff: maid service was very late, around 3 or 4 but room was properly cleaned.

The front desk staff, however, helped me out considerably by allowing me to use the staff dryer.

My boys enjoyed the fitness room each night, although a little dissapointed that there was not a swimming pool.

There is a lot across the circle next to the Holiday Inn that has weekend parking for 10.

Other: they have a mini store next to lobby with drinks and snacks.

Free wireless or wired internet was provided near the phone on this table.

Nice work area with free high-speed internet access (wired).

The room was clean and comfortable and expected.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean.

Our room was spacious, comfortable and most importantly very clean.

Large, clean suites, and a new feel to the entire hotel.

The staff was always cordial, the hotel was always clean, and while the morning breakfast was not as good as most Embassy Suites (where I normally stay), it was still pretty good.
