Only when I insisted, she agreed to arrange payment to the other hotel.
It's in a convenient location close to the Galleria Mall, shops, and restaurants.
This hotel is not near either of the two airports, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're flying in.
Right of fHouston bus line 82, which will get you to the Galleria for $1 and 30 minutes of time.
We had a 2 bedroom suite, each bedroom had a King bed and the living room had a sofa sleeper.
Big rooms - true suites with a separate bedroom that closes off from the living room/kitchen.
The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suites were excellent for our extended family.
This hotel often fails to reserve the rooms - avoid it you want a room for the night!
All in all the stay was VERY enjoyable, the two bedrooms each had a large flat screen t.
I guess if you wanted to take food up to your room) but it was nice to be able to eat breakfast on regular china.

We inquired about restaurants in the area for the next day's meals and she gave us quite a few coupons for a variety of restaurants.
Complimentary breakfast was excellent, one of the best I've seen.
Free breakfast buffet in the morning had quite a variety of items (waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, english muffins, bagels, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt).
Nice manager's reception 6-8pm, also with variety - not a full dinner but a snack plus.
The only one she found was more than double the price of my Homewood rate, but the receptionist insisted that I pay it myself and 'come back the next day to talk to the manager'.
The receptionist took my details and promised that the hotel manager will call me the next morning, but this never happened.
The manager came up with all kind of lame excuses to what happened (busy shift last night, the receptionist forgot to update the computer etc.
From the moment of our arrival the entire staff did their utmost to insure our comfort and our satisfaction.
When I got to the hotel, the key card I was given did not open the door, and I was sent 3 times by the receptionist to retry opening the door.
They have a small pool and a small outdoor area for basketball.
Homewood has all the comforts of home; spacious, clean rooms, a refigerator, a microwave, and a helpful and friendly staff.
The room was spacious, clean and well appointed.
