Homewood Suites Houston-Clear Lake - 休斯敦

We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite with separate kitchen and den and had plenty of room.

Our room was like being in a one bedroom apartment rather than a hotel.

Room was clean--enough towels in the bathroom--layout of room had kitchen to the right when you came in w/table+chairs right across--Frig had ice maker--and we used that ice for our small Igloo the next morning--.

Daily maid service is awesome, the two bedroom suite is very spacious.

The bath had a tub with a pull down shower head which helped with our small children.

Parking was free, and a taxi boat easily transported visitors to the docks filled with restaurants, shops, and boardwalk rides and fun.

There's a mall close by and restaurants too many to name.

Complimentary breakfast with mini omlets, biscuits, potatoes, cereals, pastries, waffles was excellent.

Hotel is easy to find - right off IH45, convinient to many restaurants and shopping and, best of all, 5 minutes from Johnson Space Center, 10 min.

Having two televisions is always a plus as well as the breakfast buffet.

And what's so nice, we have been staying there for about 2 years now, and most of the staff is the same, which tells me the employees are happy.

The location is great, the hotel is clean and daily maid service is awesome.

Efficient staff in all areas and a great hotel.

TV above fireplace to watch during breakfast and the hotel pool is in the courtyard between the wings of the hotel--more private from street and some shade during the hot months--did not notice if there was spa or just pool itself.

Hotel might be totally smoke-free--just noticed that lobby/halls, elevator, and restroom by the breakfast area had no smoke odor even lightly from people's clothing--and I am pretty freakish about cigarette smoke.

Parking out front close to front entrance was limited (weather was very rainy)--there was 2 smaller sections available for maybe a dozen cars and some of those slots were for check-ins.

I think they had free high-speed internet, but I was on vacation, so I didn't use it.

As long as we keep going to Galveston, we'll stay at Homewood Suites Clear Lake.

Furthermore service was excellent and room was clean and spacious.

The staff was WONDERFUL, room was clean and spacious.

Some other "home away from home" hotels only clean your room once or twice a week.
