I thought the hotel was good value for money, the only reason that I haven't given it 5 out of 5 is that on the first stay when I came to check out my bill was wrong.
We found this hotel to be a great value with a before tax rate of $109 per night.
This hotel is just great for the measly price of $ 114.
I would say this hotel is definitely worth the money.
The hotel is well located just off International Drive in a quiet side road - the location and hotel itself felt very safe and secure.
The hotel is located just off International Drive, very convenient for Universal and Wet and Wild, and we could drive to Disney in 15 minutes, so location was pretty good.
We needed to stay close to Universal, and this hotel location was perfect.
There is also a Lynx bus stop right outside whcih I used to visit the Florida Mall and even to get to the airport ($1.
The hotel provides a paper with directions to the airport, the parks, and other places that one might want to visit.
The room has a kitchenette w/full-size fridge, dishes, dishwasher; living room with pull-out couch, chair, and television; king-sized bed with tons of pillows and comfy sheets, bathroom has a nice sized shower/tub.
The rooms were clean and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge area, internet access in the room, a large bedroom with 2 queen beds, a separate vanity area and bathroom.
The suites have a great kitchen with full sized fridge, a pull out full sized sofa bed and a seperate room with 2 queen beds.
Our room was wonderful, the bedroom area spacious with two beds and a TV unit and the bathroom clean.
The rooms are very roomy (like a comfy, small apartment) with a kitchen, living room, and bedroom area.
The breakfasts are better, but we are not choosy breakfast eaters.
Between the breakfast and evening meals we saved a lot of money on food.
Overall I feel that this is a great choice for any family that wants a nice hotel room but can live without a gift shop, spa, lounge, & restaurants that you get at full service resorts.
Our family ate a big free breakfast at the hotel, then had a snack mid-afternoon at a theme park, then back to the hotel for the reception from 5-7 that was more like a meal.
There is a large self-service breakfasting lounge on the ground floor for residents who prefer Continental as opposed to cooked breakfasts (there is no formal dining room).
The staff managed the situation well, the hotel was excellent and the manager reception was nice.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area (with the exception of one at the front desk--which the other employees more than made up for.
You pick up tickets at the concierge desk at the Hilton Garden Inn across the driveway (and you can use their gym, pool & so on as well).
We were also informed that the swimming pool was closed due to some non-specified issue, but were invited to use the pool across the parking lot at the Hilton Garden Inn.
It was also nice that (at night) we always had a security guard walking around in the lobby and the pool area - that made us feel very safe.
The hotel offers a Complimentary High-speed wireless Internet access and television has the Premium channels (HBO, CNN, ESPN).
Most rooms get wireless, high-speed Internet reception, but not all.
The suite was of good proportions - very clean and tidy with all new equipment thoughout.
This hotel's proximity to the Universal Orlando Resort was fantastic, all staff were kind and courteous, the suite we had was clean.
Moreover the rooms were extremely spacious, the breakfast was super complete and pool deck were kept very clean.
The hotel is clean 's self, the staff are great and the rooms are spacious.
