Homestead San Diego-Mission - 圣迭戈

This hotel only cost me about $35 a night, and was in a convient location to the different sights (sea world, zoo).

It has every thing you would expect from Homestead but this is the most expensive Homestead we had ever stayed at - don't know if it is because of the time (around New Year's Day) or the location in San Diego.

Hey, this place is cheap and excellent value particularly if you intend to use public transport.

The tram is an easy ten minute walk away and you will be in Old Town in five minutes.

The bed was very uncomfortable with springs in my back and only 2 pillows (no extras in the room).

We were given a room on the second level; one queen bed; and facing the freeway!

There is a bed, chair and ottoman, 13" TV, ironing board and iron.

But I felt the room was small for business travelers compared to other suite hotels I've stayed at in the past.

Our only complaint was the bed wasn't as comfortable as other hotels we've stayed at.

They provide you with a bar of soap and towels.

There's a Ralph's plaza about 1 mile and the Mission Valley Mall is about 2 miles away, Incohoots Western Bar (1.

There are shops & markets close to this hotel if you like to cook.

It is a short walk/drive to a lovely little strip mall with some nice fast food places.

It only takes 10 min walk there for grocery and meals.

The service is great, and the staff friendly.

If you stay less than 7 days there is NO free maid service.

Hotel was CLEAN, staff were very friendly.

The closes gym, I found, was a 24hr Fitness located at the Mission Valley Mall (about 2 miles) There is a also mini-park with BBQ facilities on the grounds of the hotel.

They also have no pool or any other type of recreation.

They will not notify you when your car is being towed in their parking lot!

There isn't even a desk for a laptop, but they do offer wi-fi for free.

My bathtub had mold, the floor did not seem clean and I found some random hairs in the sheets that were clearly NOT mine, causing me to wonder how well they'd been washed.

Hotel was CLEAN, had an apartment size refrigerator, two burner stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots & pans, dishes, glasses, other cooking utensils.

They actually encourage to get your own stuff from the front desk and clean up your own room.

A nice extended stay hotel with great overall curb appeal & very clean rooms (being a former Hotel Manager, I know how/where to check cleanliness).

The rooms are clean, spacious, and quiet.
