The hotel's restaurant had a delicious à la carte menu that kept me well-fed during my stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing trip. The location was central, making it easy to explore all the attractions in the city.
Oh, and let's not forget the charming smell of burnt cooking oil that permeated the entire hotel. Such a delightful aroma.

We had a great time at the hotel; the hotel is close to many interesting places, safe area, and city center but not so busy. The breakfast was delicious, and there were many options to choose from. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Hard to think of anything.

The room at Hollow On The Square City was spacious and comfortable, with a clean and functional bathroom. I loved being able to sleep with the windows open and enjoy the quietness of the pedestrian squares. The breakfast spread was diverse and offered a variety of healthy options including homemade bread, fruit, and eggs. The location was perfect for exploring Long Street and the convenient parking made it easy to start our excursions. I would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Cape Town.

hollow on the square city exceeded my expectations. the room was spacious and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was central and convenient for exploring museums and other attractions.
the food was not replenished regularly, resulting in dry and discolored dishes.

The hotel was well located and gave us easy access to nearby attractions. The complimentary Easter chocolates and cookies were a nice touch. The staff was friendly and the room was cleaned daily to a decent standard.
The noise from the traffic and surrounding hotels was constant and kept us up at night. The bathroom was extremely small, making it difficult to move around and use comfortably.

The room size and the kindness of the staff were the best aspects of this hotel. The room was spacious and we had more than enough space to move around. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. The location was a plus too. It was near to some tourist spots and good restaurants in the city center, and we could get around easily. The breakfast was decent too.
The cleanliness of the hotel was a huge disappointment. Our room was not well-maintained and there were stains on the bed sheets.

Amazing food and bar menu, peaceful, spacious, helpful staff, ice-cold fridge.
Nothing, all was good.

Room was massive, staff were super cool and friendly. The hotel is in such a sick location, we did a Cape Point Tour and saw the southernmost point of Africa - it was mind-blowing! We also did the Franschhoek Wine Tram and got to taste wines from different vineyards, all without worrying about driving. It was lit!
Wish they had a party vibe at the hotel, like a rooftop bar or something. It would've been epic to have some late-night fun with friends without leaving the hotel.

I had a last-minute business trip and was pleasantly surprised by this place. The room was a decent size and had all the amenities I needed, including tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. The bathroom was spacious with both a bath and a shower cubicle. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, particularly Mr. Charles, Mr. Rashid, and Mr. Frenk. The location of this hotel is great, as it is in a busy square with other establishments close by.
I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, but the location of this place, next to my favorite spot, the V&A waterfront, was fantastic. The only downside was the presence of homeless people in the area.
