Usually staying at Holiday Inn, because the price is alright and the hotel has a great location.
We return year after year to Holiday Inn, for the price you couldn't ask for a better hotel.
I would not reccomend staying in this hotel unless they drastically drop their prices.
If you are looking for a place to stay close to downtown and on the beach, this hotel offers a nice location.
You pay for location and they have been fixing it up a little every year!
In a location for spectacular sunsets, the hotel has great bars and the staff was nice and helpful.
The location was great and our stay was very good.
Holy Cow, you want a nice vacation spot or a back rub/foot rub.
The jacuzzie suite consisted of a worn out queen size bed, 1 and 1/2 person jacuzzie tub that looks like it hasnt been cleaned in 20 years.
One king bed with a clean bathroom, TV, and a couch.
I told her that I wanted a comfortable bed and a clean room with a view.
No mosquitoes in the new room, but both rooms were stale and the bathroom floors were filthy.
To begin with, this had to be the least comfortable bed I have ever slept upon - hard as a board.
It also has a patio bar which sits right on the water with entertainment and a restaurant.
The hotel features two restaurants, plus the outdoor bar, as well as a nightclub.
It is an awesome restaurant with great food located in the downtown area.
The room was clean, sports bar provided us enjoyable experiences and the food was very good.
The bar was a great afternoon escape just before the weekend nuptials and the food in the resturaunt was good.
The front desk staff was outstanding, answering all of our many questions, even assisting in booking golf for our four accompanying guests.
The front desk help were attentive and the room service was quick.
While the hotel is a little threadbare in areas, the service oriented attitude of the employees more than makes up for it.
Friendly staff look elsewhere and good managers appreciate the reports so they can be addressed.
The fitness center and pool are great for relaxing and the view on Grand Traverse Bay is great.
Had to call about a loud group partying in the hallway lobby area.
So we went to the lobby store to get a snack, and nobody was there to help us.
The staff was very nice, our room was very clean.
My husband went to the front desk to report the bathroom saying "my wife is refusing to take a shower because the bathroom isn't clean".
Then the man standing next to my husband said "my wife is also refusing to take a shower because their bathroom wasn't clean and she's waiting until we check into another hotel".
