Holiday Inn San Diego-On The Bay - 圣迭戈

Excellent location and the hotel is well located.

The location is terrific for visiting the sites on the waterfront, you can walk to the Midway museum and all the other attractions nearby but be warned the hotel looks like a 1970's movie set.

The location overlooking the bay was lovely and we could walk to Seaport Village, USS Midway and were close to bay trips and ferry.

Noise from traffic, the railway line, the nearby airport and the naval air station is very intrusive.

We did not need a car the shuttle bus took us to most of our locations, and if we did have to take a taxi it was always cheap.

The room was a 2 bedroom suite, with two queen beds in one room and a pull out couch in the other.

Bath room door is now a sliding wood framed glass thing that faces the bed.

Restaurants on the hotel grounds include Ruth Chris Steakhouse (expensive - dinner), and a pub-like restaurant(breakfast, lunch and dinner) called The Elephante and the Castle.

We ate in the hotel's restaurant every day for breakfast and 2 evenings and the food was great and at a reasonable cost, children were well catered for.

A's, a very popular fine dining restaurant with breathtaking views of the city skyline and bay and wonderful cuisine.

This is family hotel also; because of the children eat free breakfast in the restaurant.

We ate at the Elephant Castle restaurant good menu, and very tasty food, plus kids eat free.

This hotel is superb in all aspects: great location, spectacular views, friendly staff, quaint and clean rooms, accommodating front desk, helpful concierge.

All the staff were very pleasant and efficient, including the front desk staff, the concierge, the grounds workers and a chambermaid.

Every single person that worked at the hotel from the front desk folks to the valet parking attendants to the cleaning crew at the pool were friendly and helpful.

We did not use the pool, the parking is $18 per night, which may seem steep, but you have in and out priveledges.

The free airport shuttle elimiinates the need for a rental car and parking fees if you plan to visit sights near this location (did notice airline employees using this hotel).

The hotel has complimentary wireless internet connection which worked great for us.

We like this place because they have free wireless internet--this let's me catch up on some work while my wife naps.

The rooms were clean, although not overly large.

Rooms were clean and attractive, the food was excellent.

Our room was CLEAN and had very new furnishings, carpet, curtains.

Our room had a foul odor, not very clean, and VERY small.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and updated.
