Holiday Inn Reading-South - 雷丁

Well located for stadium and good location.

This would be a great hotel in terms of location for watching Reading FC or a shopping break, and about 30 minutes to Legoland.

We would probably use the hotel again because of its location to Heathrow Airport.

They arranged a taxi quickly, free parking -accessible for public transport--near the madejski stadium and very handy to major roads.

Excellent on site facilities and the taxi firm was very helpful & cheaper than regular cabs.

However, the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the room was well equipped with tv, tea/coffee making equipment, fridge, iron and ironing board and a trouser press.

We stayed in an Executive Room which was nicely furnished in light wood tones, with a 5 foot bed.

We check in and get a small room in the corner with one freakin bed in it.

Bed was comfortable, coffee mugs were clean, fridge in room was useful.

The house-keeping wasn't up to much, the in-room coffee wasn't replenished, my bin wasn't emptied on one occasion and the selection/availability of towels/face cloths in the bathroom varied daily.

The breakfast was okay but we wouldn't recommend eating at Traders as the food was below average and quite expensive (?

I did not eat in the restaurant in the evening due to the prices but there is a very good Fish and Chip shop straight over the road from the hotel entrance.

Nice reception/lounge/restaurant area two bars and close to business park - thus the reason for choosing the hotel.

I have also previously eaten in the restaurant and found the food to be indifferent.

Breakfast was disappointing - chaos is only work for it - not enough clean tables or food.

Service in the dining area was brilliant, noisy considering my stay was during a week end and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Service was excellent throughout and the receptionist was very helpful.

Clean hotel and staff at reception very efficient and friendly.

The staff at the front desk is a bunch of idiots.

Nice reception/lounge/restaurant area & two bars (we didn't actually use them though), decent bedroom & bathroom but a little bit on the small side, small pool area with a good jacuzzi, would've preferred a mixed sauna though.

Gym is small but modern and well equipped and pool is fine with a jacuzzi pool too.

The hotel has a gym, pool and spa but ,as we did not use them, I am unable to comment on these.

Room spotless and spacious, coffee mugs were clean.

The hotel was spotless and the room I stayed in was clean and quiet it also had a/c the meal in the restaurant was quite good with a set menu for £20.

The beds were a bit hard for weary travellers, but compensated for by clean, fresh bedlinen.

The hotel was spotless, the service great - was a bit pricy and the room was very comfortable.

The room was clean and breakfast seating service was excellent.
