Holiday Inn Portsmouth - 朴次茅斯

The location is quite good, close to Gunwharf Quays at Portsmouth Harbour and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Great location - 15 min walk to Gunwharf, couple of mins to the seafront and pubs nearby.

It is in a good location overlooking park land and in walking distance of the historic ships.

I walked from the station (Portsmouth Harbour) since it was such a nice day and I had wheels on my case.

Board free of charge and just a ten minute walk into town for shopping at Gunwharf Quay.

The rooms are spacious with large, comfy beds and nice large bathrooms with bath & shower, windows open, letting in the healthy sea air.

The room was not large but the bed was king size and the bathroom clean.

The bathroom was bright and clean with shampoo bottles etc, a smallish bath with a separate shower over and heated towel rail.

Lobby area looks very nice, helpful staff and we liked the fact that a z-bed was provided free of charge.

The hotel was so convenient, the staff were helpful and friendly, bed was very comfy.

The website informed me that they are undergoing a refurbishment to their Bar & Restaurant and I have to say that I was so impressed, I have re-booked again for next month.

Restaurant are spacious and bar menu are pretty good perhaps not a lot of choice for vegetarians.

In conclusion a very pleasant place to stay; handy for Old Portsmouth (10 mins walk), Southsea shops and restaurants (10 minutes walk – some good eating places here) and the Gunwharf Quays outlet shopping centre and Spinnaker tower (20 mins walk).

The breakfast buffet is delicious but very pricey but all you can eat for that price.

Nice bar, food fantastic and decent swimming pool.

The dining area was conducive to peaceful, the hotel staff were all fine: The reception staff helpful and the service was great.

The location was fantastic for Clarence Pier - just five minutes over the road, i stopped in an executive room so the general quality was not too bad and the reception staff were quick and competent.

Very helpfull pleasant staff, helpful receptionist and the beds were very comfortable.

Also staff were polite, the receptionist was friendly and the check-in was simple and quick.

I did not use the gym or swimming pool but I am sure it would meet all standards.

This puts some pressure on the check in desk and the two tiny lifts.

There is a swimming pool; it looked quite inviting but it is part of a health club and looked rather busy the Saturday we stayed there.

The room was clean, service was good did wane as the meal progressed.

Rooms were impecabbly clean, the english breakfast was hot.

The Room very acceptable and sheets clean.

The rooms, although slightly dated, were spacious and clean.

We got a family room for £75 p/night inc breakfast, on the 6th floor, which was very clean and quite large.
