The hotel itself in an ideal location, one block from the main square and two blocks from the Old City.

There was a tiny sitting area with a pull-out sofa bed, table, TV, fridge etc.

Good breakfast included and great position beetween the city center and the ciudadela.

I just spent ten days in Montevideo at the Holiday Inn and I can honestly say that my stay in this wonderful city was as successful as it was because of the highly professional staff at the hotel.

This is what really bothered us as we travel extensively, and one important requirement and a 'must' for us in our decision to stay in a hotel, is their gym/fitness center.
