The rooms are motel style rooms, so I would not pay a hotel price to stay here.
All in all i would not recomend this hotel to anybody unless you just have the money to spend for the terrible service you recieve.
Most aspects of this Holiday Inn do not meet my expecations of exceptable standards and we would NEVER stay at this location again.
Stayed here for one night for an early flight out of Joplin airport- this was only one of 2 hotels in Joplin that had a free shuttle to the airport.
The bed can in no way compete with the new beds popping up in hotels all over the country, but I don't think there's a hotel in Joplin that has an enhanced bed.
I have to say that the beds and linens in the room were quite comfortable.
The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great too.
A mint on the bed and a choice of pillows was nice too!
The room I was assigned was clean and well maintained, although the bathroom is very dated and the drain in the sink smells of sewer gas.
We also dined in the restaurant, and the food was fantastic, not just for a hotel restaurant.
There are restaurants within walking distance so we ordered food and brought it back to the room.
Excellent continental breakfast, outdoor pool that looked very nice.
The restaurant had what appeared to be a total of four employees working on Saturday morning (hostess, waiter, cook, busboy) and they were completely overwhelmed.
Children were to have free meals but later realized that I had been charged for granddaughter's meal that night.
The value for this property is very reasonable, the front desk staff very friendly and informative, employees don't seem happy.
Good clean place to spend the night at a reasonable price and the front desk staff use to be so pleasant and prompt.

For the price paid, free coffee from the lobby and a very good value.
A better rate and the lobby has definitely been updated.
The hotel lobby area has a waterfall and was nicer than an average motel.
The room was big, sheets were clean and the continental breakfast was good.
The staff was extremely nice, the rooms were very clean.
Additionally the staff was very friendly and the room I was assigned was clean.
