  For the price of the room i would rather go to another hotel. There are alot of hotels in the area for a better price and a better stay.

  It is a old building we had to wait for 5 min for hot water to start working.

  The kingsize room on the 2nd floor was nicely decorated and seemed clean at first sight. The staff was very friendly and gave us a room on the 7th floor.

  Next day there were ants all over the room, and we requested another room. Sice we directly found ants in the bed in that room as well, we went back to the front desk. Again the staff apologized and transferred us to a room on the 11th floor (executive level).

  But there were roaches and the front desk staff didn't seem surprised about it (as they gave me a very small discount off my room rate). Complimentary high speed wireless internet is a plus.

  I asked the front desk staff about cockroaches and they said they are quite common. The hotel needed a good cleaning; my bathroom had black slime building up in the shower.

  The first night my room heater burnt out and then the next morning I saw cockroaches in the room. The new room was nicer, newer heating/cooling unit.

  Problems: If you are here for any lengthy stay you start to notice the problems: spotty breakfast buffet choices, elevators stop working, room problems - broken fixtures, wallpaper stains/rips, etc.

  The room was adequate but we did find one bug in the bed, which made us nervous.

  The elevators and carpeting in the hallway are just downright dirty and look to be about 20 years old. Mostly though, the issues were with the extremely old elevators and hallways.

  The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered room service one night and was impressed at the portions and quality of food.

  The staff was exceptionally helpful, the newly remodeled hotel shows sign of care and consideration. The room was meticulously clean and all the plumbing had been modernized. There was a small problem with the toilet in the bathroom when I arrived. I called the front desk and maintenance was there within minutes and made the repair. We did not use the dining facilities, but hey appeared clean and neat. We did use the pool and shirlpool and it was fine. They have van service to the medical center beginning at 6:30 am each morning.
