Now mind you, this hotel is nothing lavishing or fancy, so if you're looking for something really upscale than you might want to stay in the park and pay a ton of money.
Great location, the free bus to Universal was late and this hotel was fine for the money.
However, they need to put some money into this hotel.
Spend the extra money to go to a better hotel.
The reasons I chose it was our need for a 2 room suite (5 adults in our party) and the location that was centrally located from Disney and NE Orlando for an event we were to attend.
Great location and hotel looked good in lobby.
Perfect location, a Great Value for families traveling and service was quite good.
But when we asked the Bellman to get us a taxi to the airport for our departure, he called a car service.
You can dine there, and also take a free water-taxi to University Citywalk.
The bathrooms had a shower/tub room with the toilet and the single sink kind of off the bedroom itself.
2 had pubic hairs on bathroom floor, dried urine on toliet, mold in tub, mold on ceiling and water on the carpet around the AC unit and under the bed by the window.
All of us had requested non smoking King bed rooms and we were all given rooms with two double beds in them, but on non smoking floors.
We originally book a king size room but were upgraded to a one bedroom suite with two double beds upon checking in.
One room had two double beds and the other had a king bed.
There is a TGIF's close by as well as a Cracker Barrell and some other restaurants within walking distance, which is nice after eating theme park food all week.
Me and my boyfriend could have a big breakfast for $15, and we could also have a meal of oatmeal, muffin, coffee and eggs for like $7 total for the both of us!
99 breakfast buffet that we ate everyday.
Attached Friday's restaurant was better than expected and many dining options in walking distance.
TGIFridays is the restaurant which was all right but I don't want to eat at another one of those for a while!
Staff are friendly and you can use their free shuttle service to go to Universal Studios.
The front desk staff was rude and probably tired of hearing all the complaints.
Well actually let me correct myself, I looked at her name tag and she was the Assistant Guest Services Manager.
Upon returning, another elevator was broken and we were told to take the "quicker" elevators on the other side of the lobby.
The elevators were also being used by the hotel staff, (housekeeping carts and maintenance workers)so it added to the crowded conditions.
Parking was well lighted and easily accessible, TGIF adjoins the hotel and they have a free shuttle to Universal (although we did not use it).
This was despite the risk of combustion from the maze of wires and cables under the desk, where I enjoyed complimentary high-speed internet.
Our room was cleaned spotless every day and there was plenty of clean towels and extra bedding on hand.
The hotel was very accomodating, all staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean.
