We will have a hard time finding this sort of value for $69 in a hotel that is nearly on campus.
If you need a room close to the UF campus, you can't beat this location!
The best thing about this hotel is the location.
Overall, location makes the place tolerable, but by no means a gem.
My wife and I frequently stay at this location, since they offer a nice rate for medical center patients.
Good location, my new bedroom decor awesome and the lobby is nice.
This visit, when we first went into the room, the bed was unmade and all the linens were piled in the chair.
Unfortunately, he made no mention of a significant rooms renovation other than cosmetic beds/sheets.
The pillows were ok and the bed was very firm.
Anyway, after the game I came back to the room and it was one of the smallest bathroom's I've been in.
The rooms are generally on the 6th floor-the "executive level"-so they are nicer than those on the 3rd floor (where they stick you if you need 2 full size beds).
They hope to add several restaurants, including a pool side bar and ground level full service restaurant.
Continental breakfast was better than most - on the day I actually used it, I noticed sausage on the bar.
Even the free breakfast was better than the norm (eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, bagels, etc).
The lobby is nice and has an attached bar.
Many restaurants within walking distance.
Not a bad place, lobby front desk staff were great and the good: Rooms were clean.
The new lobby is beautiful, the staff is always friendly and the hospitable from an employee seemed to be very rude and unprofessional.
I checked into the hotel and heard one of the front desk employees give another guest the password to use the internet.
I returned to the front desk and overheard an employee telling another guest to go next door to use the internet.
The olympic sized roof top pool looks great, but we didn't use it.
Also, one elevator broke over the weekend, causing some delays in waiting for an elevator.
The future: I spoke with the general manager as I was waiting for an elevator.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a nice, clean quiet room.
The hotel and rooms are acceptable to nice and fairly clean, If your looking for a party this might be the place but don't expect to get any sleep.
Staff was friendly and room was modest but clean.
The room was NEW, fully renovated and very clean.
The room was extremely clean and the all-English speaking staff were friendly and helpful.
