  Continental breakfast was good for a hotel continental breakfast.

  Bathroom and room a little small, but not bad for 2 people who used it to stay in at night only. Pool was not filled with water, not sure why?

  The service there was excellent; and I have never had better treatment than the staff provided; they were always helpful in fiving maps and print-outs to help us find locations. They were all very friendly and made our stay a real pleasure.

  The walls are a bit too thin and noise from neighboring rooms got to be a bit much at times, but for the most part it was okay.

  The location of the hotel is good, sort of in the middle of everything. We did rent a car and therefore used the parking garage, which is actually located on 6th, not 7th. Our room was nice, although the bathroom was a bit small. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, my only complaint is that the housekeeping crew would not be finished until very late afternoon. This happened to us twice; we had come back at about 5 pm and they were still in our room finishing up.

  We were informed that the charge for parking would be $14 per day (and I knew that ahead of time anyway), but in the end we were only charged for one day.

  The room reeked of cigarrette smoke when I first came in and they did not hesitate to let me change rooms despite having a busy week with the conference in town. They let me print out my airline boarding pass and some personal work files I had to have when their printer at their public computer/internet station wasn't working. Directions, advice on restaurants, printing aid, extra towels, etc etc - the staff was incredible. The rooms were always clean, the towels were big, and the A grade breakfast are a all reasons I will stay here again. But the biggest suprise was the friendly staff.

  I had several issues I had to deal with while travelling for business but the staff met every need with enthusiasm! The staff at this hotel stand out from many others. The room was a bit noisy on delivery day but only if the door to the balcony was open.

  The employees at the front desk were kind, bent over backwards to help me, and were knowledgable about the city and transportation around San Diego. The hotel was clean and my room was always made up whenever I returned at the end of the day.

  This hotel is very good value for the location compared to other hotels in the area. The only drawback in terms of location was when we went out to bars at night it was a $60 taxi fare to Ocean Beach, but hey you can't be close to everywhere. As for the hotel itself, the staff on reception were excellent and there is a nice lobby area to sit in and a couple of PC's with free internet.

  The parking garage was a tight squeeze as other reviews have noted, but we managed to park our mini-van ok. The corridors did seem a little dated, as did the breakfast room, but the bedrooms were fine although the bathrooms were very small.

  I accidently put it on high heat before I went to bed and the room was barely warm when I work up.

  I had a intermediate car and I don't see how people with SUV's etc got their car's in that parking garage. I got back to the hotel after 10pm both nights and I was a little worried walking from my car to the elevator.

  The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with an option that should suit almost anyone. I did not deal with the parking and relied on the hotel shuttle to get from the airport and public transportation/ walking to see the sights.

  The elevator is very slow as previously discussed, but I never had any issues with waiting for extreme amounts of time and was never made late by that fact.
