      These folks are trying very hard - but the location (behind the Salvation Army Thrift store) is not helping.

      Room is large with every amenity of a big scale hotel - except the mounted magnifying mirror which is absent.

      They are going to have ongoing problems with mold because the building and room AC units are old and condensation is a problem.

      Breakfast is Holiday Inn standard, and there is a small, pretty pool out back that I've just had a dip in (Houston is HOT).

      They had a manager's reception last night with enough food for dinner, and the check in clerk chased me down after I went out last night because I didn't get my water and chocolates which they give to all incoming guests.

      BUT, I can walk barefoot through the room and my feet stay clean.
