Good location and close to a bus line that got us into the city in just a few minutes.

Excellent location for city centre, the relaxed atmosphere and good price.

A good all round choice for a city break in a quiter location but within easy reach of the city centre.

A taxi costs around £6-7 to the city, so we got the bus there and taxis back.

The hotel is in a good location, just 15 minutes cab drive from the airport and a few bus stops from the city centre.

The room was a mini-suite and was very good indeed; 2 rooms and a bathroom with a great view.

We stayed 1 night here and were lucky enough to be upgraded to a junior suite, with a bedroom adjoining a sitting room with sofa and 2nd TV.

Our room was decorated in a fairly modern style and the bed was comfortable - we had a complimentary half bottle of wine in the room which was a nice touch.

Dinner, bed and breakfast in a mini suite in Edinburgh in July for £52 per person per night.

The Junior Suite is worth the extra money for the space and a very comfortable sofa bed in the lounge are if required.

Had a drink in the bar on returning to the hotel which was fine, and breakfast was very good from a buffet selection.

They also came with breakfast and the restaurant put on an above standard spread in my opinion - there was a lot of fruit, cereal as well as the normal UK breakfast fare.

The lobby area, restaurant and bar areas are lovely.

Breakfast was 10 times better than the holiday inn next to the zoo (They are both 4 star, why should the food be different).

Breakfast is really good with a wide choice.

Check in was straightforward and the staff were friendly and were able to advise us on the bus service, which is cheap and runs frequently into the city, the bus stop is across the road from the hotel.

Not too impressed with the staff at the front desk, efficient but not very friendly.

The young staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful.

The 41 bus stops across the road and is a very frequent service.

Parking was free and there were sufficient spaces for us to get parked ok.

KFC) If you have a car, there's ample onsite parking and there's a playground outside for kids.

Parking was easy, the hotel was clean in every area apart from the usual grouting problem and cracking tiles that the Holliday Inn regularly experience in their hotels older than 3 years!

The rooms look recently re-done and were very clean.

Well connected to the centre by bus and the hotel room was spotless.

A very typical Holiday Inn as regards rooms (clean and basic).

The bathroom was large and spotless, the shower was very powerful, and stocked with Dove products.
