Excellent location for travel, breakfasts of high quality - hotel price is such that you wouldn't expect this.
Booked as good location near to airport surrounded by green fields, hotel is fine.
Perfect location - in the fields and the hotel staff are excellent.
We had to leave from Bologna airport after a two week stay in Italy, and we wanted to be near the airport for our last night's stay.
The Holiday Inn is only about five minutes drive to the airport, so it certainly is convenient for that.
The room was small and had a very small toilet/shower room (not bathtub).
The air-con is noisy (once you figure how to work it) and the room I had was very badly arranged.
This is evidently a hotel that takes full advantage of the shortage of hotel rooms in Bologna.
We had to pay EUR200:- for a double room.
The room was OK but the hotel is situated a very long distance from the city centre.
Breakfast was included, and had a modest selection of items in the hotel dining room.
Staff don't seem interested in clients, and food and bar prices quite high.
The restaurant of the next hotel,that was noisy at that time.
Apart from that service the front desk staff seemed to be very uninterested and unhelpful unless they had a substantial tip.
Easy connection to Bologna city downtown, hotel staff very friendly and helpful, the services is good.
Of course the front desk staff arranged for "taxis" i.
An example: No car rental agency at the hotel and according to the front desk staff the only possiblity to get a car was to take a taxi to the airport and walk into the office of the car rental agency - no arrangement through the hotel whatsoever.
We were offered three parking options - park in back of hotel with no security (free); park in front of hotel with 24 hour attendant on duty (7.
This seemed somewhat tacky for a large hotel with plenty of parking that was definitely outside the main business district of Bologna.
