  The air conditioner was so clangy that I couldn't sleep. The room smelled of mildew and too much air freshener. The bathroom was old and had chips in the counter and floor. The water smelled of sulfer and the shower had no water pressure. I stayed in the "updated" tower rooms based on other reviews. I would hate to see the cheaper motel style rooms.

  We stayed in an upper floor tower room which was dated but clean. The staff were friendly and the hotel was reasonably well located. The reception and public areas of the building are decorated in a style which could probably best be described as "nightmarish late 80s Aztec/rustic". Overall the stay was pleasant enough and I'd recommend the hotel if you feel you can get a room for a price that fits the standard of accommodation.

  I'm not sure what sort of party the hotel thinks a thirty-something couple could have with a small bottle of water, one pack of potato chips and some walnut cookies but the thought was there.

  This is really two hotels in one: a 6-7 story high-rise building with elevators, and an attached set of two-story motel style buildings with outside corridors. The room was clean, although somewhat dated. After some research on the web site I discovered that I could have had a better room in the tower for a mere $10 per night more. When booking, make sure your room type says "interior corridor" or "tower" in the name - if it doesn't you are in the motel part of the property. While there was really nothing WRONG with the room, it stung to pay $109 for a basic motel room when the same was available for far less money elsewhere.

  Since it was a motel room it had a door directly to the outside, and thus was fairly noisy.

  The morning cafe staff wasnice, it was a joy to eat there.

  One waitress "cathy", was so sweet to us and totally spoiled us every morning.

  The hotel was very clean, staff were superb (everyone said Good Morning etc etc etc), the pools were great, though the indoor pool was a little cold for us to go into. Our room was in the Tower, looked newly refurbished. The only complaint, housekeeping never showed over a 2 night period.

  We originally chose this hotel because we were looking for a hotel with an indoor pool. The hotel actually has one outdoor pool and another pool, which is half indoors and half outdoors. Although we never actually experienced the pools, there were lots of families and kids enjoying the pool areas. However, because our room faced the pool areas and main sidewalks, we could clearly hear the noise of people talking and playing from our room. The hotel has a very big lobby with fountains and many chairs and sofas. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly.

  However, the service at the restaurant was extremely slow.

• The swimming pool is always nice. Everything has always been clean, and everyone has always been friendly.
