Our room was large and stylish, with very wide beds (sofa bed for the kids) and a balcony.

The bed in our one BR apartment was two tiny single beds pushed together with barely a 2 inch mattress topper over foam.

Reasonably priced taxis available, excellent apartment and there was a great chanse not to spend money in spa.

An excellent place to stay, nice room and my wide doesn't speak Finnish.

The rooms were dismally furnished, the couch was tatty and indescribably uncomfortable.

Food, it seems, is thoroughly a good experience, especially if you know to stay away from 'normal' restaurants, and seek the lunch stands/ supermarket lunch stops for hearty home cooked meals.

In the breakfast, the children enjoyed of the possibility to make their own waffles.

The restaurant was not too crowded in the morning, although the hotel was fully booked.

To our disappointment the pool bar was not open until in the afternoon, so we could not get any refreshments.

Restaurant actually closes a half an hour earlier than advertised, and there's no mercy on hungry travelers.

The service in this hotel is nonexistent, and though I'm a native Finn and can communicate in Finnish, I still felt that I was not being helped no matter what the problem was.

I called the concierge six times before the call was answered about mid morning!

As it stands, ithis hotel is certainly not worth the expense out of pocket, but I guess as a timeshare exchange to visit family, its OK as long as you don't expect service, cordiality, comfort, or effortless relaxation from your stay.

It takes special pride in its resort like services, such as the spa, and supposedly the most extensive indoor pool area in the city.

The 'spa' is a total ripoff at 12 euros per visit for even time share owners, so a family vacation at this place is out of the question unless you have an extra budget just for pool time.

Our family (2 adults, kids 9 and 12 years) stayed for one night at "Tampereen kylpylä" hotel & spa.

We were given a top floor suite which was spotlessy clean, incredibly large and very well appointed.
