Cosy and in such a lovely location, very pleasant Hotel.

Great hotel in a bizare location and the staff were friendly.

Service was excellent and the bed uncomfortable the room was very clean.

Our room was lovely and cosy, with a four poster bed.

Our 'superior' room was disappointingly very small with a sloping ceiling and a small double bed.

Stayed on a saturday night paying £100 bed and breakfast from late rooms for our anniversary, we left feeling like wedding crashers.

Beautiful country house hotel, the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room rates were very reasonable.

We chose the weekend break package and were welcomed on a rather damp friday night by friendly reception staff and showed to a lovely double bedroom which had a half tester and was beautifully decorated from the cushions to the curtains.

We liked the building, friendly service and the receptionist was rather less than welcoming.

However once there the welcome you receive from the staff is superb.

The old house is splendid and as the weather was good we were able to sit in the very pretty garden.

Attentive staff working on the day, the bathrooms are sparkling clean and the food is very good.
