  The rooms are nice, the A/C is nice and cool, and the bed is comfortable. The mini bar is stacked and cold El Presidente beer was always nice. TV's were rather small but a fair share of English and Spanish stations. The hotel bar, Las Tapas, makes great drinks and friendly service to go along with a big screen TV to watch a game. Morning breakfast buffet was very good with fresh fruit and an assortment of items including a chef to prepare a fresh omelotte.

  Free WiFi in the room is not slow, or fast.

  Good restaurants and an adjacent casino will make your stay very enjoyable.

  The rooms are a bit old and the service somewhat slow, but the overall experience is above-average for a visit to the Dominican Republic.

  Located at a busy road you’ll find this larger hotel with an elegant lobby where you’ll be able to see into the aside casino. My very spacious room on the 3rd floor had a large king size bed, inroom safe, ironing set, large bathroom. Don’t miss the pool with the nice view, even for a drink in the evening.

  The free WIFI connection was awful which had been confirmed by my business partners.

  At first, we were assigned a room in a very poor condition (water leaking, wore out furniture, smelly, etc), and then when we asked for a room change they assigned us a proper room (took them 4 hours to do so). The lady responsible for the client service (concierge) was not at her desk most of the time, so we never had the chance to ask her for directions or place to go and dine out. Front desk employees really make an effort to please the customer but they are terrible at giving directions and recommending restaurants or pubs.

  It is an independent chain of Hotels and they give excellent service. The parking was underground and there even a guard there.

  It is a beautiful hotel with a pool and jacuzzi to die for. There is also a comfortable gym area and spa with massages offered at a very reasonable cost. The staff is generally quite friendly and helpful. The rooms, especially the superior rooms are beautifully furnished and are good value for the money. On our last night we were moved to a room overlooking the main road and that was our only problem as the traffic was very loud and went on all night. We were assured however, that part of the renovation currently underway at the hotel includes making the rooms more sound proof.

  This is an excellent hotel if you are going to stay in Santiago, Casino is awsome, service is very good, and they ahve a heated pool and a jacuzzi all outside and view of the city! It was an excellent place to stay, clubs are about 5-15 minutes away, depending where you want to go, food, shopping all nearby!

  And there is HOT water there and no power outtages at the hotel!
