    Its location allows for a nice quiet visit so one needn't worry about loud noise from traffic or clubs.

    We stayed at the Governor Calvert house and we were extremely satifsifed with our non-smoking, two double beds room.

    The room and hotel itself have retained most of its historic charm, with period photos and an enclosed excavated portion of the mansion's foundation available to view.

    The hotel is definitely within walking distance to the pier, shops and restaurants.

    The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and made excellent dinner recommendations, providing us with a map to arrive there and also to see what else was within walking distance.

    The hotel has a shuttle service available 24 hours a day which was nice as we had dinner across Annapolis and the weather was a bit too cool to walk back to the hotel afterwards.
