Enjoyed the evening meal and the attentive service. A quiet location in good surroundings.

the service at breakfast could have been better organised.

The location of the hotel was perfectly placed in a predominantly rural setting a few minutes away with easy access to many of the great golf courses in the area,

    Breakfast food was good

Bathrrom tiny and badly designed could not sit on toilet squarely as door was in the way. Dining room staff disorganised, forgetful, no table available in actual dining room had to wait for juice, breakfast items to be replenished, toast never came until after asking for a second time, tea came with no milk, toast with no butter the food was good the staff were not on the ball at all when we arrived no free tables in dining area I asked if we could sit in the conservatory that adjoined to be told no as the table were laid for lunch so we had to sit in the lounge bar as they obviously did not want to relay the lunch tables. Bad service in my opinion

Its good value and the food was nice.plenty of parking and a pretty location.staff were pleasant and helpful.

As a light sleeper I found the noise from neighbouring rooms kept waking me.The plumbing from the room next to mine seemed louder than mine.

We were staying at the hotel as it was the location of a wedding reception we were attending. It was lovely to be able to go and freshen up during the day in your own room. The room was clean and we were pleased with the service they provided.

We rung and requested to have a bottle of chanpange put in the bride and grooms room from us. The person we were speaking to the wedding coordinator was rude on the phone to us and not very helpful. I was disapointed to see that the message I had asked for to be written witht he bottle was written on felt tip on a half ripped piece of a4 paper. Surely this could have been done nicer. Also on the morning of our departure there was a couple papers blowing around outside the enterence with no attempt to clear it up. We thought this was off putting not just to us but also to new visitors to the hotel.

Not much I left one day earlier then planned due to several reasons. The room was in a bad state, surely around the place they had signs that they were doing some work, and that was more than needed as well. The room was not clean, not well fitted (lose toilet seats etc). Wifi was not working at all, and the girl on reception already told me that upfront. However she thought it had something to do with the area the hotel was located. After all very disappointing, a letter of complaint will be send to the Best Western Group for sure...

Having a restaurant which offered good quality, well-presented food at a reasonable cost was a bonus for us because we were not familiar with the area, only staying for 1 night whilst we visited the Black Country Museum.

The hotel decor seemed rather "tired" in some areas. Also the service at Breakfast seemed rather disorganised, no-one appeared to be in charge and guests were consequently sitting at uncleared tables and waiting for service which was very haphazard. This may have been due to an influx of wedding guests from the night before but could have been anticipated?

I found the room clean, shower could do with a little work to remove the black mould around the bottom, tile area. Although not too bad what could I not see ? Breakfast was good, service acceptable when requested napkins.

No internet connection WiFi not available. Bathroom tiles could do with more work to ensure the black mould was removed from the shower cubicle.

It was conveniently located for us as we had 2 events to attend in 2 different locations, and were flying into Birmingham airport, and it was reasonably priced.

Chaotic breakfast time. Food very good but staff too easy going - tables not cleared or re-set, nor food items replenished until asked.

The breakfast was not replenished when food was low or items missing. The quality was poorish. Things kept far to hot that they cooked twice. We have stayed 3/4 times. Best was when you got your breakfast to order. Dinner was quite good.

Very friendly and provided excellent breakfast

The use of large white mugs for breakfast tea was rather off-putting. In my experience a good hotel provides a cup and saucer with teapot.

The staff were really helpful on arrival when Booked.net had not notified the hotel of our booking. Fortunately they managed to find a room for us.

The bedroom was more suited to a single room rather than a double one, as the bed was pushed up against the wall. We managed to move the bed round to the wall on the left (next to the bathroom), so that access to the bed was available to both sleepers. The hotel could make this small change, at little cost, by moving the dressing table slightly to the right. Also, the bathroom tiles in the shower didn't look very inviting. They weren't dirty, they could just do with re-placing/updating as the grouting is very dis-coloured.

A good deal at £35 to include cooked breakfast. Pleasant Staff. Reasonably priced food, range and quality of food not bad - but nothing to write home about.

11am Check out. Most budget hotels now offer 12 noon check out. I use hotels a lot at weekends and would welome 1 or 2pm checkout on Saturday and Sunday.
