I don't recommend the hotel's restaurant (overpriced and mediocre, like many hotel eateries).
For the price ($99), this hotel is good but not really worth a whole lot more.
All in all we liked the hotel, and would return; particularly for the price of $75 from Booked.net.
Overall, I thought the hotel was very nice for the price.
The location is close to walk to several restaurants and the pier.
The staff is very nice and quite competent, and the location ok as well (although not very close to the beach).
The location is really great - very close to restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance.
$50 taxi ride to the hotel and again back to the airport.
Complimentary transportation by bellstaff to anywhere in the city so no need for car or cabs.
A bunch of little things went wrong - I asked for a high floor and didn't get one, a phone was missing (but the cord was still there) water stains on the bathroom ceiling in an otherwise nicely decorated room.
In spite of our few little issues, the overall experience was fine, the room was very nice and clean, and the bed was quite comfortable.
Our room was nice and big and the bed was AMAZING!
The rooms were clean, beds were totally upscale in comfort and the Presidential Parlor is the perfect gathering room for our large "pajama party".
In fairness, the room itself was fine, the bed was fine, and once they got around to me the housekeeping staff did an acceptable job.

The swimming pool was terrific and morning continental breakfast in the restaurant was acceptable though unremarkable.

Great neighborhood to stroll around - short walk to the bay, parks, shops, and restaurants.
If you have a problem at this hotel, do not expect any quality service from either the front desk staff or any manager on duty other than the GM.
The best part of the stay was the front desk staff.
Great hotel, pool, spa, bar and lounge, restaurant, room service, gift shop, property is older but clean and taken care of, parking is $10 a day though.
Oversized Pool and Jacuzzi was a real treat.
The elevators are pretty near the middle of the corridor of each hallway and pool is fine.
The "high-speed" internet, which you purchase in bulk when you first try to log on in your room, is slightly faster than my old CompuServe dial-up account.
If you need a decent high speed connection, you won't be happy here.
The hotel itself is nice and clean, their staff is extremely courteous, the rooms are very spacious.
The rooms are clean, a nice continental breakfast is served there 9:30AM and the pool claims to be heated.
The best hotel in Florida, staff were mostly helpful and our room was clean and quiet.
