Hilton Palm Springs - 棕榈泉

If you get a good rate, it is definitely worth staying there, as the location cannot be beat for proximity to shops & restuarants and to the center of town.

The location is good in the sense that it is extremely close to downtown and to the Spa-casino - if you are into that.

The location is great and 2 minute walks to the spa casino and shopping and dining on palm canyon blvd.

As long as we were staying, I wanted a nice place but didn't want to have to rent a car or spend a lot of $$ in cab fees to get to a hotel in the evening and back to the airport first thing in the am.

The offer a free shuttle to/from the airport.

The room was great - nice comfortable bed, large sized room, and a big balcony (I guess all the rooms have balconies).

Our room was pool side ground floor, air con great nothing broken bed where excellent.

There was some furniture at the foot of the bed that has a big spot/stain, and although the flooring in the room was clean, the common areas such as the stairs need to be vaccumed.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, the rooms were spacious, and the view of the pool and the mountains were beautiful.

A king-size bed, separate seating/livingroom area, desk, dressing area with lighted mirror and spacious bath, all immaculate and tasteful.

The restaurants and bar were kind of dead but the morning buffet breakfast was better than I expected.

We didn't have the opportunity to eat at their restaurants but other guests had mentioned to us that they had been very happy with the food and service they had received in the restaurant.

This Hilton has average rooms inside an average pile of bricks, with average conference rooms, with average food at average restaurants, average drinks at a below average bar.

Breakfast is excellent here as hotel breakfasts go and the staff tries to honor any request without fuss.

The restaurant there also has the best hotel food that I have ever had.

The front desk staff was friendly and efficient (in fact, they were better than the 5 star resort I had just come from).

The staff is careless (there was no one at the desk when I went to check out -- I even had to go to the house phone and ring the switchboard to get someone to come to the front desk!

The front desk personnel, housekeeping and valets -- everyone was thoughtful, helpful and cheerful.

It was nice to be able to simply go out throught the patio to the pool area and not have to use an elevator or go down a hallway.

Take advantage of the "Resort Value Pack", it's reasonable in price and includes a lot (like free Internet, parking, calls, gym access, more).

There is a pool and they are apparently installing a new spa facility but I think the similarities end there.

The people are so nice, it's always clean, and the rooms are so comfortable and nice.

The hotel was gorgeous, the staff was friendly, it was exceptionally clean and they even upgraded me to a suite at no extra charge.

The reception was wonderful, the rooms were very clean and the pool was great.

The property definitely is "older" but the room was updated and very clean.

The hallways were a bit dumpy and one of the lobby toilets was not clean--ick!
